Temperature monitoring during transport Transport disposable PDF temperature data logger with LCD display

Temperature-controlled transport refers to the set of measures implemented to ensure temperature control during the transport of non-stable products. These products are mainly medical, cosmetic and food products. Temperature control guarantees ideal transport conditions, and depending on the nature of the product, can be carried out at positive (0-4°C, 15-25°C) or negative (-18°C, -80°C) temperatures.

Two major points must be respected during transport: temperature maintenance and control. Temperature during transport must be adapted to the nature of the products, to preserve all their properties. (e.g.: 0-2°C seafood products, 0-4°C cut cheeses, -18°C frozen meats) Right through to final delivery, products must be regularly monitored to ensure that the cold chain is maintained and respected. To do this, product temperatures must be regularly recorded using precise tools (probes, thermometers, etc.). Special provisions make temperature recording compulsory for frozen products.
