Freshliance Atlas Log-30 multi-use usb temperature data logger can monitor the temperature of antibody during its storage to ensure its safety and compliance.
Antibodies are disease-fighting proteins in the body that play a crucial role in the immune system. Much like a search battalion, antibodies recognize infectious invaders such as bacteria and viruses and help the body eliminate them. Antibodies develop in response to an infection or enter the body passively through vaccination. An antibody is sometimes called an immunoglobulin. But not all antibodies are immunoglobulins. In comparison to sensitive proteins such as enzymes, antibodies are highly stable proteins that retain activity in a wide range of biological conditions. As a result, storage is relatively straightforward.
For short-term storage, unpurified serum that contains sodium azide can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 months at a time. Unpurified serum without azide, however, should be kept at -20°C in order to avoid bacterial growth. Purified antibodies, which contain azide by default, can also be stored at 4°C for 2-3 months at a time to allow for use without repeated freeze/thaw cycles. For long-term storage, we recommend storing serum vials and aliquots of purified antibody at -20°C. Storage at -80°C isn’t necessary.
The Atlas Log-30 multi-use usb temperature recorder comes with LCD display and provides an accurate temperature range of -30℃ to +70℃. This usb temp data logger can be freely set according to your needs on our free configuration software. Up to 6 alarm points and 9 marks can be set. Once the temperature is out of the alarm range, it will give an alarm sound about 60dB at 3m. It’s loud enough to remind the staff. The temporary mode allows this temperature data logger to continue working after users have generated and read the temporary report. Current data information can be viewed using the configuration software. This function is convenient for staff to check data. After recording, PDF/CSV/PDF+CSV format reports with graph and table are automatically generated, with no cable or reader required. This report can be evidence of the whole antibody storage operation being compliant. Passwords also can be set to prevent others from unauthorized operations on the device.
