An autoclave, also known as a pressure sterilizer, is a device used to sterilize items at high temperature and pressure with water vapor. The usual treatment conditions are 15 to 20 minutes at high pressure saturated steam 121 degrees Celsius, depending on the volume and quantity of items to be treated.

To monitor the temperature and pressure in the autoclave in the sterilization process, Iron Tag Rugged Temperature Data Logger developed by Freshliance will be a good option. It is designed with S316 stainless steel case and IP68 protection rating. After parameter configuration, the whole device can be put into an environment as high as 150℃. After data recording, we can take it out of the autoclave, stop it and plug it into a computer via the USB connection after it returns to the normal temperature. The report will be automatically generated, no additional software needed.
