Temperature and Humidity Monitoring in Plant Tissue Culture
Freshliance BlueTag TH20 Bluetooth wireless temperature and humidity sensor can realize real-time temperature and humidity monitoring and recording in plant tissue culture.
The plant tissue culture technique has been popular in commercial space for large-scale multiplication of plants of elite superior varieties. The success of obtaining tissue-cultured plants with high productivity and output depends on several factors including physical, physiological, and environmental factors. Among environmental factors, temperature and relative humidity are especially vital in plant tissue culture.
Temperature plays an essential role in the growth and development of in vitro plants. The most commonly preferred cultured temperature is between 20 ℃- 27 ℃. But, it also varies depending on the genotype of plants. If the temperature is too high above the optimum, the plantlets will experience fast metabolic activities. This will use up most of the nutrients and water from media faster, hence, plantlets will not show good growth. Low-temperature conditions on the other hand would lead to slowing down of metabolic activities. The typical relative humidity inside a tightly-sealed culture vessel ranges from 95% - 100% which has an essential role in the germination of in vitro somatic embryos.
With Bluetooth communication technology, Freshliance BlueTag TH20 bluetooth temperature and humidity monitor helps monitor the real-time temperature and humidity of the environment in which the device is located or the items it attached. You can attach it to the plant tissue culture shelves. Freshliance BlueTag TH20 bluetooth temperature and humidity sensor enables data visibility for monitoring and inspection by its LCD display. Besides, after downloading our T-Keeper APP in the Google Store and connecting the logger to the APP, you can view real-time and historical information on it. The abnormal alarm can also be set to well culture the plant tissue, allowing timely response to unexpected situations, and avoiding plant tissue damage or invalidation caused by the beyond-range temperature and humidity.
