Temperature monitoring for biological samples
The safety storage of samples and biological products is an essential part of any laboratory. When the biological samples are stored at room temperature, they often decompose or degrade over time; and even when stored at low temperatures, some samples may become inactive if they undergo multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Most biological samples need to be stored at an ultra low temperatures of -86°C, -150°C or even -196°C due to the need to preserve the activity of biomolecules and cells in long-term storage. By the lowest possible temperature it could reduce the biochemical reactions in the samples and improve the stability of various components in the sample: at the same time, the stability and uniformity of the temperature during long-term storage will also have an impact on the quality of the sample. If the appropriate temperature cannot be reached and maintained, it will directly lead to the reduction or failure of the activity of the biological sample, and lose its high research or therapeutic value. Therefore, it is very important to monitor the temperature of biological samples at low temperature and ultra-low temperature.
Freshliance Atlas Log Series are multi-use, configurable, battery-replaceable temperature loggers with external probes featuring high-resolution temperature ranges of -200℃ to +200℃. We provide different external probes for ultra low temperature monitoring to meet the different needs of the biological samples. And Parameters can be freely configured using the configuration software supplied by our company. The integrated PDF / CSV file generation function enables this recorder to generate irreversible data reports directly in PDF / CSV format, without the need for any software. The recorder can be used for a wide range of applications, including sea and air freight, distribution, storage and freezing, pharmaceuticals.
