IOT Environmental Monitoring for Swimming Pool
As one of the common fitness exercises, swimming has the benefits of enhancing cardiopulmonary function, building up one’s resistance to disease, and preventing cervical and lumbar spondylosis. However, the environmental conditions of the swimming pool will directly affect the swimmers’ feeling. For physical comfort, the comfortable temperature range of the swimming pool is usually 26℃~28℃ and the comfortable humidity range is usually 50-60%.
To better monitor the environmental conditions of the swimming pool, we recommend our BlueTag TH30R, which is a Bluetooth data logger with up to two external probes. The probe cable is commonly 2m long and other lengths are customizable.
In practice, the external probe can be put in the pool to monitor temperature of the water, while the main device is left at the poolside to monitor the temperature and humidity data of the surrounding environment. Then all data can be easily read via the mobile APP upon Bluetooth connection, and will be automatically shared to other users.
Besides, this device can also be combined together with a WiFi Bluetooth gateway to realize real-time data monitoring.
