Regulations about data loggers you should know Easy-to-use bluetooth temperature data logger
A temperature recorder measures temperatures at regular intervals and stores them in its memory. The result is a complete temperature history that can be tracked over a precise period. Temperature data logger is particularly useful for monitoring cold chain compliance in the pharmaceutical industry, biology laboratories, the food industry and elsewhere.
Cold chain regulations require these sectors to monitor temperatures during transport, storage and preservation of products. Temperature and humidity data loggers are also available, enabling both parameters to be measured at the same time.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
As defined by NF V 01-002, HACCP is a system that identifies, evaluates and controls significant food safety hazards.
HACCP is not a standard, but a working tool. It is based on 7 principles. HACCP is implemented through a series of 12 steps, including hazard analysis and identification of critical control points.
The 3 families of critical points are as follows:
Biological hazards (bacteria, viruses, etc.).
Chemical hazards (chemical residues, additives, etc.).
Physical hazards (foreign bodies, packaging, etc.).
In most cases, temperature monitoring is one of the most important critical points, and the quality manager must ensure that the cold chain is respected. Blue Tag T10 is an excellent choice for respect the cold chain.
EN 12830 standard
The EN 12830 standard describes the metrological, electrical and mechanical qualities required of a temperature recorder for the transport, storage and distribution of chilled, frozen, deep-frozen and ice-cream foodstuffs.
Among other things, EN 12830 specifies that loggers must have an accuracy of ±1°C between -30°C and +30°C, and a response time of 5 minutes. Originally written for the agri-food sector, it has since been adopted by all sectors, particularly the pharmaceutical and health sectors.
Calibration
Calibration is the action of adjusting a device in relation to reference data, in order to obtain accurate behavior during recording or reproduction. In the case of a temperature recorder, calibration is used to correct any deviation from a standard, which is measured during calibration. Freshliance data loggers are calibrated at factory, there is no need to do it yourself.
Blue Tag T10 is a small, easy-to-use bluetooth temperature data logger. All parameters can be set via the cell phone application. This wireless HACCP temperature sensor can also be connected indefinitely. One sensor can be connected to an unlimited number of users on an unlimited number of Android phones.
The app can support an unlimited number of sensors, limited only by the phones. Bluetooth connection via the app, you can scan the code to read the temperature data through the app on your phone. The HACCP temperature data logger complies with CE and RoHS standards, as well as EN12830 and HACCP.
